Following up on the recent news about international release plans for JUJUTSU KAISEN 0—including North American dates starting on March 18—the anime film has announced a new milestone. The feature is officially the 10th highest-grossing anime film of all time in Japan, surpassing Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire with its latest updated numbers.

As of January 30, JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 is at ¥9,839,644,200 (about US$85.70 million) and 7,191,107 tickets sold. Beyond its impressive top 10 ranking in anime films, it’s also now the 39th highest-grossing overall film in Japanese box office history, sitting right between the Japanese version of The Adventures of Milo and Otis, which has been pushed to 40th place, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest at #38.

JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 will have further opportunities to climb in the ranks, too. Next weekend will mark the debut of 4DX and MX4D screenings, as well as a new round of theatrical bonus incentives that’s sure to get fans back in seats for another go.

VIZ Media published the JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 manga in North America and describes it:

Yuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student who is suffering from a serious problem—his childhood friend Rika has turned into a Curse and won’t leave him alone. Since Rika is no ordinary Curse, his plight is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where fledgling exorcists learn how to combat Curses. Gojo convinces Yuta to enroll, but can he learn enough in time to confront the Curse that haunts him?
