Japanese Fans Rank Their Most-Anticipated Fall 2018 Anime

Another cour is coming. The anime season that starts in fall (or autumn, if you prefer) sees a few beloved franchises making a long-anticipated return, plus some new selections that are looking hot too.

Let’s see what readers of Japanese site Charapedia chose as their top 10 most-anticipated fall 2018 anime.

9. Fairy Tail final series
8. Boarding School Juliet
7. Golden Kamuy (season 2)
6. Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu.
5. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
4. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind
3. Tokyo Ghoul:re (season 2)
2. A Certain Magical Index (season 3)
1. Sword Art Online: Alicization

No surprise up there at the top 4: all continuations of ultra-popular franchises. The bottom half of the list has some interesting picks, though, including the anime adaptation of light novel That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, not to mention the yaoi manga Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu.
