The I’m in Love with the Villainess anime adaptation is on the way to screens this October, and shortly after that fans will have a new way to experience the source material in English. Seven Seas Entertainment announced plans to release Inori and Hanagata’s light novel series in English audiobooks through its Siren imprint, with the first volume set to launch on November 16. Volume 2 will follow on December 7. 

The I’m in Love with the Villainess audiobooks will feature narration by voice actor Courtney Shaw. 

The original I’m in Love with the Villainess series first launched on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in January 2018, followed by digital publishing through GL Bunko and the release of the first volume in February 2019. The novels feature illustrations by Hanagata, and the fifth and final installment was published in Japan in August 2021. 

There’s also a manga adaptation by AONOSHIMO that launched in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine in June 2020. 

Synopsis:

Ordinary office worker Oohashi Rei wakes up in the body of the protagonist of her favorite otome game, Revolution. To her delight, the first person to greet her is also her favorite character, Claire Francois–the main antagonist of the story! Now, Rei is determined to romance Claire instead of the game’s male leads. But how will her villainous lady love react to this new courtship?!
