Three Strange Reincarnations Coming to the Fall Anime Season

Isekai may not be dominating the new fall anime season, but it's still there!

The fall anime season is just a month away, with lots of new and returning shows lined up to premiere in October. As we wrap up our summer watches this month, we’re looking ahead to what’s next. And while isekai as a genre seems to be taking a back seat this season, there’s still plenty of reincarnation to go around.

Meet a trio of anime heroes getting used to their new life circumstances. Some have had a major fall from grace; others are living the dream. Which will you be watching?

Reincarnation is a lottery. You might end up as a slime, a sword, or a vending machine. But if you’re the protagonist of the upcoming Heat the Pig Liver, a new show gracing the fall anime season, you’re in a special kind of trouble. Our hero got in this situation after eating raw pig liver. Now he is Pig: a pig who is 100% going to get eaten unless he can save his own skin.

Fortunately he meets Jess, a girl who can read minds. She does intend to eat him eventually. But maybe his good ideas can tip the scales? We’ll find out when the series begins in October.

Demon lords are back for the fall anime season! But this one’s return isn’t going quite how he planned it. Leonis Death Magnus was once the strongest of the Dark Lords leading humanity, and sealed himself away to be resurrected at a later day. A thousand years later, he’s back… as a ten-year-old human boy.

Reborn in this new body, he finds that humanity is in danger of being exterminated by creatures known as Voids. What are they? When and how did this happen? Leonis will go back to school to find the answers when this new series premieres in October.

Rae will use her knowledge of her favorite game to save not herself, but the aristocratic Claire François. Will Rae be able to use her meta knowledge to win over Claire? Find out when I’m in Love with the Villainess premieres in October!
