Today marks the birthday of Killua Zoldyck from Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter, and you won’t find many fans more dedicated than Mariya Ise, who voices Killua in the TV anime adaptation. To celebrate the character’s birthday, Ise showed off a cosplay she did way back in 2000, when she was just 12 years old.
As Ise explained, she “wanted to be Killua” when she was 12 and he was her “first love.” The picture below shows Ise on the right, dressed as Killua and holding a skateboard, next to someone cosplaying Gon on the left.

Hunter x Hunter may still be on hiatus, but it’s been back in the spotlight with the recent Twitter account started by series creator Yoshihiro Togashi. The author provided a health update a few days ago and currently has an exhibition in the works.
