When this season comes to an end, the curtain won’t be closing on the Higurashi: When They Cry anime. The series’ official Twitter account confirmed plans to continue the saga with a followup titled Higurashi: When They Cry — SOTSU, which is set to kick off this July.
Funimation already announced plans to stream SOTSU as it airs. Here’s the new promo:
The Higurashi: When They Cry — NEW anime premiered as part of the Fall 2020 season and just aired its 24th and final episode. Look for SOTSU to pick things up in just a few months.
