This weekend’s Jump Festa 2022 event revealed some fresh info about the upcoming anime adaptation of Yuji Kaku’s Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga, which was first announced way back in January. While there’s still no broadcast date, and the voice roles have yet to be detailed, we did get treated to a key visual and teaser promo.
Kaori Makita (Twittering Birds Never Fly – The Clouds Gather) is directing the anime, with Kazuaki Kaneda on series composition, Akitsugu Hisaki on character designs, and Yoshiaki Dewa on music for the MAPPA production. Check out the preview below.

VIZ Media publishes the Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku manga in English and describes it:
Gabimaru the Hollow is one of the most vicious ninja assassins ever to come out of the village of Iwagakure. He’s ruthlessly efficient, but a betrayal results in him being handed a death sentence. There is only one hope: travel to a long-hidden island and recover an elixir that will make the shogun immortal and he will regain his freedom. Failure is not an option—on this island, Heaven and Hell are a hair’s breadth away.
