Funimation Debuts New Higurashi Dub and Releases Cast Information

Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU began airing in Japan at the beginning of last month, with Funimation doing a simultaneous screening of the subtitled version. Yesterday Funimation premiered their dubbed version and released a list of the dub cast and crew.

Emi Lo plays Rena Ryugu, Brittany Lauda plays Satoko Hojo, Michelle Rojas plays Mion Sonozaki, Khoi Dao plays Keilchi Maebara, and Apphia Yu plays Rika Furude.

Turning to the crew, you see two of the actors are also involved behind the scenes. Michelle Rojas is helming as the ADR director and Apphia Yu has been tapped as the assistant director. Xavier Earl and James Baker are both working as ADR engineers. Jarrod Greene is the script writer. William Dewell has the job of being the mix engineer.

Higurashi: When They Cry – GOU is the latest part of the Higurashi anime franchise, following Higurashi: When They Cry and When They Cry II: Solutions, both of which have been released by Sentai.
