The Tokyo Ghoul manga series has sold well in both Japan and America, so it’s no surprise American publisher VIZ has nabbed rights to creator Sui Ishida’s new manga, Choujin X.
The first chapter is available free online at VIZ’s website. VIZ also gave a very brief description for it, writing, “The latest from Sui Ishida! Sometimes to fight a monster, you must become one!”
Fans first heard about Choujin X last year, when the creator revealed some artwork and said that this manga would be worked on “at his own pace.” At that time Ishida had also completed the storyboards.
Choujin X also began coming out in Japan this week.
