Last month it was announced that Hiroyuki’s Girlfriend, Girlfriend manga had just four chapters remaining, and now the last leg of the story has played out fully. The 144th and final chapter of the rom-com manga has been published in the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine‘s 25th issue of 2023, closing the books on the series that has been in serialization since 2020.
15 collected volumes have been released for the series so far, with over 1.9 million copies in circulation. The 16th and final volume is set to hit shelves in Japan on July 14, and the special edition will include all bonus content from previous volumes along with illustrations by other popular manga artists.
