Fans have been clamoring for an official English release of the original Fate/stay night visual novel, and they’ll finally be getting it two decades later. TYPE-MOON held a Fate/stay night 20th Anniversary live stream today, taking the opportunity to reveal Fate/stay night REMASTERED for Nintendo Switch and PC. Based on the Fate/stay night Réalta Nua version that added some updated features and content, the remaster has a worldwide release set for sometime in 2024.

Fate/stay night REMASTERED will support English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese language options.
Following the original game’s 2004 release on PC, Fate/stay night made its way to PlayStation 2 in 2007, and the Réalta Nua version hit PS Vita with added content in 2012.
Fate/stay night has inspired a few anime adaptations, including one from Studio DEEN in 2006 and another from the same production house in 2010 in the form of the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works film. An Unlimited Blade Works TV anime by ufotable followed in 2014, and then a trio of Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel anime films opened in 2017, 2019 and 2020, respectively.
