We knew it was coming: the question was what.
Now we’ve got some deets on the long-awaited Fairy Tail spinoff manga teased by creator Hiro Mashima. It’ll be called Fairy Tail City Hero, and is set to debut this fall.
Mashima tweeted a preview image of Fairy Tail characters Natsu, Lucy and Happy in urban apparel—it looks like they’re dressed as police officers.
Fairy Tail City Hero will be penciled and written by Ushio Ando. Mashima tweeted that the title is tentative, so may be subject to change.
City Hero isn’t to be confused with the Fairy Tail sequel manga, which the author says will be “revealed soon.” Finally, he mentioned that “FT anime final season” will also be coming in fall.
All this in addition to Mashima’s new non-FT manga, Eden’s Zero.
Sounds like there’s a lot of activity in the Fairy Tail universe.
What do you think of the look of City Hero?
