We first got word of an anime adaptation for the Fairy Tail: 100 years Quest sequel manga—written and storyboarded by original creator Hiro Mashima and illustrated by Atsuo Ueda—back in September 2021. Now the series has been lined up for a July 2024 premiere, with confirmation that all the previous voice actors will return in their respective roles.
You can see some of those characters again in the brief teaser trailer and visuals—featuring Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet and Wendy Marvell—below.
Shinji Ishihara is general director, with Toshinori Watanabe as director, Atsuhiro Tomioka as series composition writer and Yurika Sako as character designer for the J.C.STAFF production.
