Dr. STONE Manga Final Chapter Now Available in Jump

dr. stone manga

This weekend saw the release of the latest Shonen Jump in English, and with it came the final chapter of Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi’s Dr. STONE manga. This marks exactly five years since the manga first kicked off in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on March 6, 2017, and it means you can now sit down and read the whole thing from beginning to end on the Manga Plus and Shonen Jump services.

The end of February saw the announcement that the series would be reaching its climax at this time, but little did we know it would be the actual ending! The final chapter ran a little longer than usual and featured a color page.

Dr. STONE inspired a TV anime that started airing in July 2019 and has a third season on the way in 2023, as well as a Dr. STONE: Ryusui TV special this summer. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English and describes it as such:

One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he’s not alone! His science-loving friend Senku’s been up and running for a few months and he’s got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!

While the series may be over, a special chapter is on the way to coincide with the Ryusui TV special this summer.
