You know Sanrio characters can supply the cuteness, but did you know they can also supply the grossness? Toy company Mega House is coming out with Sanrio toys where you can undress the adorable characters . . . down to their bones and innards.
After releasing versions of Hello Kitty and My Melody where you can disembowel them, the toy line has expanded to Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, Pompompurin, and another version of My Melody that’s in honor of her 45th anniversary. The style is referred to as “kimokawaii,” which translates roughly to gross/cute.
According to SoraNews24, each Sanrio character figurine has about ten parts to it. But each figure’s insides are totally their own and unlike the others’. And when you buy the box, you don’t know which of the Sanrio toys will be inside. The figurines are just over two inches tall and go for about $8 (850 yen). They might make for some good Halloween decorations!
