A premiere month has officially been revealed for the Platinum End anime, the adaptation of the manga by Death Note creators Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The series is set to kick off on TV in Japan this October, and the first trailer is here along with a new visual.

Produced by Signal.MD, the Platinum End anime will cover the entire manga series in its 24-episode run. That run will be a consecutive one, too, with the series airing from October 2021 to March 2022. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind‘s Hideya Takahashi will be the first director, followed by Kazuchika Kise (Ghost in the Shell Arise chief director). Masahiro Tokuda (DECA-DENCE) is on the music.
