DanMachi Season 3 Introduces Theme Song in Latest Trailer

danmachi season 3

DanMachi season 3 is on the way to screens in Japan on October 2, so we finally have another look at the hotly anticipated Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? III. The latest trailer shows off more footage and some of the new characters getting into the mix, and you can also hear a sample of Yuka Iguchi’s opening song, “over and over,” ahead of the show’s debut.

Yuka Iguchi’s next album will include “over and over” as one of the tracks. The artist previously provided theme songs for all the DanMachi seasons before this one, including spinoff Sword Oratorio and the film, Arrow of the Orion. The ending song is “Evergreen” by sajou no hana.

New cast members include Masaaki Mizunaka as Lido, Yuki Takada as Rei, Tetsu Inada as Grosse, Jun Fukushima as Ikeros, and Daisuke Namikawa as Dix.

The first two seasons of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? are available to stream on Crunchyroll and HIDIVE, and the series is out on home video through Sentai Filmworks. Here’s how Crunchyroll sums up the story:

Based off of a light novel of the same name written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? is set in the world of Orario, where adventurers band together and look for treasures in an underground labyrinth known as Dungeon. However, for Bell Cranel, fame and riches are secondary to what he wants to find the most: girls. He soon finds out though, that anything can happen in Dungeon, and winds up being the damsel in distress instead!

Previously, the new season was delayed from its original July release plans to October due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Stay tuned for more on DanMachi season 3 as we get closer to its debut.
