More information finally rolled out for Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV during a live stream event, which took the opportunity to announce an official premiere date. The fourth season of the adaptation is set to arrive on July 22, and you can relive the journey so far in a new trailer below. 

New character visuals also made their way online along with info on the opening and ending theme performers. sajou no hana will open the series with the “Tento” OP, while Saori Hayami will close it out with the “Guide” ED.

DanMachi IV has director Hideki Tachibana returning alongside character designer Shigeki Kimoto, script supervisor Hideki Shirane and other members from animation studio J.C. Staff. Original author Fujino Omori is also on the staff this time around to supervise scripts with Shirane.

HIDIVE will stream the new season—based on the light novel series by Fujino Omori and Suzuhito Yasuda—as it airs.

Series synopsis:

Based off of a light novel of the same name written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? is set in the world of Orario, where adventurers band together and look for treasures in an underground labyrinth known as Dungeon. However, for Bell Cranel, fame and riches are secondary to what he wants to find the most: girls. He soon finds out though, that anything can happen in Dungeon, and winds up being the damsel in distress instead!
