This past weekend’s Adult Swim Con didn’t just have more info on the Blade Runner: Black Lotus CG anime, it also served up the reveal of a brand new Crunchyroll and Adult Swim production. Fena: Pirate Princess is an original anime from the folks at anime studio Production I.G, and it’s set to both air on Toonami and stream on Crunchyroll starting sometime in 2021.

Details are light on the 12-episode anime, but it tells the tale of a young orphan girl, Fena Houtman, who breaks free from her oppressors and starts a new life of adventure with a full crew as they venture forth to unlock the mysteries behind the keyword “Eden.” Kazuto Nakazawa (B: The Beginning, Kill Bill) is directing, and you can see the WIP teaser below.
