By the Grace of the Gods Anime Reveals New Trailer and Cast

Announced as a Funimation co-production back in April, By the Grace of the Gods is an upcoming anime that adapts the isekai light novel series written by Roy and illustrated by Ririnra. Now we have a new trailer and two new cast members, including Saori Hayami as Elise and Takehito Koyasu as Reinbach.

Takeyuki Yanase is directing the anime, with Kazeyuki Fudeyasu on series composition for the Maho Films production. The main cast member revealed thus far is Azusa Tadokoro, who voices protagonist Ryoma. Check out a teaser below.

J-Novel Club publishes the novels in English and sums up the story:

When 39-year-old Takebayashi Ryoma dies from blood loss (after sneezing and hitting his head on the ground), he is reincarnated as an 8-year-old boy in a fantasy world. Not the greatest way to bite the dust, but at least he reincarnates! Set on this path by three major gods, Ryoma begins to live a life of solitude in the forest, studying slimes.
