Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover manga has been preparing for its big finale for a while now, and initially entered the final arc of the story in August 2022. Now it’s making a move in the meantime, taking the leap from Weekly Shonen Jump to the quarterly Jump Giga magazine, where it will resume this winter.
This was revealed in 2023’s 38th issue of Shonen Jump, which will be the last one to carry the manga. Tabata commented and said he’ll do his best to bring the series to a successful conclusion, calling Jump Giga a “better fit” for his situation. One issue of Jump Giga launches in each season, making for four issues each year.
VIZ Media publishes the manga in English and Crunchyroll streams the anime, describing the series like so:
In a world where magic is everything, Asta and Yuno are both found abandoned at a church on the same day. While Yuno is gifted with exceptional magical powers, Asta is the only one in this world without any. At the age of fifteen, both receive grimoires, magic books that amplify their holder’s magic. Asta’s is a rare Grimoire of Anti-Magic that negates and repels his opponent’s spells. Being opposite but good rivals, Yuno and Asta are ready for the hardest of challenges to achieve their common dream: to be the Wizard King. Giving up is never an option!
