The TV anime adaptation of Gust and Koei Tecmo’s Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout RPG is on the way soon, and a new update arrived to reveal its premiere date along with a new trailer, opening song and additional staff members.
You can sample the opening theme song, which has Sangatsu no Phantasia performing “Golden Ray,” in the first trailer below.
The Atelier Ryza anime is set to premiere on July 1 with Ema Yuzuriha directing and Yashichiro Takahashi returning from the games to oversee scripts at LIDEN FILMS. Newly announced staff members include sub-character designers Mariko Fujita and Kodai Kitahara, art director Teru Sekiguchi, editor Kiyomi Yamada, monster designer Aya Akizuki and more.
The latest entry in the series, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, just launched on consoles and PC in the west, and you’ll be able to read our review in an upcoming issue of Otaku USA magazine, so stay tuned!
