The anime adaptation of Kozue Amano‘s fantasy manga series ARIA is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and one of the ways it’s doing so is with a new anime film called ARIA The CREPUSCOLO. The film was originally set to premiere this winter, but COVID-19 caused a delay, and now it’s officially lined up for a Spring 2021 debut in Japan.

The story is based on a new manga episode by Amano, which focuses on the members of Orange Planet. Among them are Athena Glory, which sees Rina Sato taking over voice work from the late Tomoko Kawakami. Junichi Sato is back to serve as general director and writer, with Takahiro Natori (La Corda d’Oro Blue Sky) directing at anime production house J.C. Staff.
