Anohana Anime Film Returns to Screens in 10th Anniversary Event

The Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day anime has been celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and there’s more on the way for the series. We previously got an aged-up visual that marked the passage of time appropriately, and now plans have surfaced for a screening of the feature film in Tokyo on June 23.

The screening will take place at the Shinjuku Wald 9 theater in Tokyo, approximately a decade after the TV anime’s 11th and final episode aired in Japan. The film itself originally premiered in Japan on August 31, 2013, and managed to pull in 1.04 billion yen (about US$9.5 million) during its domestic run.
