Following up on the first season of the new Sorcerous Stabber Orphen anime—which aired from January to April of 2020—the second has a new voice cast addition on the way. The latest to get in on the adaptation is Akari Kito, known for such roles as Nezuko in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Kotoko in In/Spectre, among others.
As for who Kito will be playing, that’s a secret for now. You can see Kito celebrating the announcement of her new mystery character in the video below, which is presented in Japanese.
Funimation streamed the first season of Sorcerous Stabber Orphen as it aired and describes it like so:
Orphen is a powerful sorcerer who is notoriously lazy. Everything changes when he finds a way to save his sis, who was turned into a dragon during their days at magic academy. Betrayed by friends who refused to help, Orphen will stop at nothing to track her down, even if he has to go it alone.
