
ONE PIECE is such a popular franchise that it gets its own day! Thanks to Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., Shueisha Inc. and Toei Animation Co., Ltd., “ONE PIECE DAY ’25″ will occur on August 9-10 (Japanese time).
There will be a main stage program that anyone can watch for free by going to ONE PIECE’s official YouTube channel. You can find that channel here.
It technically begins on August 9 from 5 to 8 PM Japanese time, when you can get the 7th ONE PIECE Knowledge King Finals: Paramount War Semi-Finals.
Then there will be things going on all day August 10, beginning from 10:15 AM and lasting until 6 PM Japanese time. They will be:
- 10:15 Opening Live Stage
- 10:30 Netflix Series “One Piece” Special Stage
- 11:00 One Piece News in One Piece Day ’25 Part 1
- 12:00 One Piece Card Game Special Stage
- 12:45 Egghead Arc Voice Actors’ Special Stage
- 2:15 One Piece News in One Piece Day ’25 Part 2
- 2:30 7th ONE PIECE Knowledge King Finals: Paramount War Finals.
- 4:45 ONE PIECE DAY ’25 Special Live
- 5:55 Ending
You can either watch this as a livestream, or watch it archived after. However, the archive won’t be kept indefinitely, and they haven’t said yet what its time frame is.

ONE PIECE, created by Eiichiro Oda, began serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump,” issue 34,
1997(Shueisha) released on July 22nd, 1997. Still going strong, it celebrated its 25th anniversary in July of 2022. The cumulative worldwide print circulation of the manga exceeded 510 million copies as of August 2022, distributed across 60 countries and regions worldwide. Most recently, the live-action adaptation of ONE PIECE was released exclusively on Netflix to great acclaim. The anime produced by Toei Animation began airing in Japan in 1999, and celebrated its 25th anniversary on October 20, 2024. Bandai’s “ONE PIECE CARD GAME” has also become a global phenomenon, while “ONE PIECE Bounty Rush,” the mobile game from Bandai Namco Entertainment, reached a milestone of 150 million downloads worldwide in August 2024.
