The unpredictable members of DC’s Suicide Squad are about to head out on their biggest mission yet: an isekai anime! After Warner Bros. teased a collaboration between DC and anime production house WIT Studio (the first three Attack on Titan seasons, Ranking of Kings, SPY x FAMILY), the results were revealed as the appropriately titled Suicide Squad ISEKAI.
The announcement came through with a trailer and visual, so let’s take a look at how this one is shaping up below.
Eri Osada is directing the Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime, with Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World author Tappei Nagatsuki handling screenplays along with Eiji Umehara (Vivy – Fluorite Eye’s Song). Akira Amano is on character design drafts, Naoto Hosoda is on main character designs and Kenichiro Suehiro is handling the music.

I’m a big fan of Harley Quinn and the other characters in the Suicide Squad movie! It’s an honor for me to be involved in the creation of Suicide Squad ISEKAI.
Eri Osada’s clear vision for Harley’s design made the process smoother than expected, and I enjoyed drawing her costume and muscles while imagining her action-packed adventures in the story.
I’m excited to see how the talented animation staff brings Suicide Squad ISEKAI to life!
