Japan Holds Final Fantasy XIV Fireworks and Music Shows

Japan Holds Final Fantasy XIV Fireworks and Music ShowsOnline RPG Final Fantasy XIV is celebrating its 10th anniversary with some real-life events in Japan that sound, well, pretty awesome.

The events will feature both fireworks and music from the game. Or, as the official site explains it:

FINAL FANTASY XIV 10th ANNIVERSARY FIREWORKS & MUSIC, an event commemorating the 10th anniversary of the world-famous online RPG FINAL FANTASY XIV is a new “entertainment fireworks event” that combines Japan’s world-class fireworks launching technology with the new element of game entertainment.

The first event will take place on August 26 in Osaka at the Hanazono Rugby Stadium. A subsequent event will take place in the Tokyo region in November, with venue TBA. Tickets for the former event go on sale June 1. There’s a bundle ticket that comes with a T-shirt and tote bag.

Final Fantasy XIV (the version everyone likes, that is) went online on August 27, 2013 and is still going strong today.
