The Teasing Master Takagi-san anime film opened in Japan on June 10, and now it’s on the way to select theaters across the United States. Following the U.S. premiere that took place during Anime Expo at the start of July, Sentai Filmworks announced plans to bring the feature to theaters on August 14 and 15.

Crunchyroll streamed the first season of the Teasing Master Takagi-san TV anime as it aired, with Netflix streaming the second and HIDIVE streaming the third, which kicked off in January. Yen Press publishes the original manga in English.

Takagi and Nishikata’s final summer in junior high is about to begin, and it’s already off to a heartwarming start! When the pair find an abandoned kitten, they decide to work together and take care of their adorable new companion until they can locate its missing mother.
