Fans of Soichiro Yamamoto’s Teasing Master Takagi-san manga, take note, because the series is getting ready to come to an end. The comedy debuted back in 2013 and inspired an anime adaptation that first premiered in 2018, and according to this year’s September issue of Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday it’s officially set to end when the November issue streets on October 12.
Yen Press published the Teasing Master Takagi-san manga in English and launched volume 17 earlier this year. Here’s the official synopsis:
Middle schooler Nishikata has had it with his classmate who sits nearby, Takagi. Day in and day out, she comes after him with every sort of trick or prank. Even when he tries to tease her back, she’s always one step ahead but he’s not about to give up that easily in this battle of cunning and youth!
In addition to multiple seasons of anime and an anime film, the Teasing Master Takagi-san manga has inspired a live-action adaptation directed by Rikiya Imaizumi, with more information to come.
