Anime Expo 2022 officially kicks off this weekend from July 1-4, and Tamashii Nations has a lot for fans to look forward to at the event. In addition to highlighting its booth presence, Tamashii Nations revealed incredible event exclusive Figuarts Zero figures of One Piece‘s Monkey D. Luffy in Gear 4 form and Charlotte Katakuri -Mochitsuki-, both special color editions, while also offering up an early look at a pair of exciting figures from the Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO anime film.
First up, let’s take a look at that S.H.Figuarts version of some of the key villains from Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO, which recently opened in Japan and is on its way to theaters in North America and other regions this August. The latest from the highly articulate line of figures includes the S.H.Figuarts Gamma 1, which is up for pre-order now along with Gamma 2 here.
Both figures are perfect for recreating all the impressive poses you may have seen in the film’s trailer, and can be displayed with the S.H.Figuarts Ultimate Son Gohan Super Hero figure—also sold separately—to recreate some epic battles. Gamma 1 even comes with the Super Saiyan Son Gohan head and facial expression parts, which can be used in combination with the bonus parts included with Gamma 2 if you purchase both figures.
Tamashii Nations will be on hand at Anime Expo at Booth #2606, and you’ll also be able to find them at the Digimon Booth (#2211) and Kamen Rider Booth (#2211). Special gifts and displays will be available over the course of the weekend, and you’ll want to take this opportunity to add Monkey D. Luffy -Gear4 Leo Bazooka- [Special Color Edition] and Charlotte Katakuri -Mochitsuki- [Special Color Edition] to your collection while you can. Even if you can’t make it to AX, be sure to pre-order the Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 figures early so you can secure them before the maximum order limit is reached!
