Featured Spotlight: Bandai Spirits
Tamashii Nations recently revealed its 2020 Event Exclusives, and the latest lineup of figures is truly impressive. This assortment includes iconic characters in exclusive colors from Godzilla and the Dragon Ball Super series, and they’re officially going up for pre-order through Premium Bandai USA starting today.
Event Exclusive pre-orders start July 16, 2020 at 6:00 PM (PDT).
The event itself kicks off on July 17, 2020 at 6:00 PM (PDT).
Among the available figures are a mix of S.H.MonsterArts, S.H.Figuarts, and FiguartsZERO collectibles, as well as a special Tamashii Stage Set that will make your Dragon Ball Figuarts collection shine.
Here’s a closer look at each, starting with the colossal Godzilla [2019] Event Exclusive Color Edition. This one hails from Godzilla: King of the Monsters and is molded in translucent material with clear blue highlights and accents on the back spines.
Next we have the S.H.Figuarts Son Goku Ultra Instinct “Sign” Event Exclusive Color Edition figure. If you’ve seen all of Dragon Ball Super, you’ll have an even greater appreciation for his deep blue undershirt and intense poses.
The S.H.Figuarts Android 17 Event Exclusive Color Edition pairs nicely with the separately-sold Android 18 Event Exclusive figure, both of which are pictured below.
That brings us to the heavy hitters, starting with the Figuarts ZERO Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegito, carefully sculpted to match the intensity of his on-screen counterpart from the Dragon Ball Super: Broly anime film. Here’s a look at the event-exclusive version.
Naturally, you’ll want to pit Vegito against the big bruiser himself. The Figuarts ZERO Super Saiyan Broly -The Burning Battles- figure is going up for pre-order in an Event Exclusive Color Edition, as well, with translucent parts that amplify the already intense figure.
Finally, there’s the Event Exclusive Metallic Color Edition of the Tamashii Stage Dragon Ball set. Perfect for displaying figures in dynamic poses, the set includes stands fashioned out of all seven Dragon Balls.
