ONE PIECE FILM RED Lands Novel Adaptation
You can read Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece in the form of the original manga or the TV anime adaptation, and movies abound with material that strays outside of the typical canon storylines. Now, with the next movie, ONE PIECE FILM RED, looming on the horizon, Shueisha has listed plans for a novel adaptation.
The novel based on ONE PIECE FILM RED is currently listed for an August 9 release under Shueisha’s Jump J-Books imprint, just a few days after the movie’s August 6 opening.
ONE PIECE FILM RED has Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass) directing One Piece for the first time since helming 1998’s One Piece: Defeat Him! The Pirate Ganzack! short way back in 1998, a year before the TV anime premiered.
