New Satoshi Kon Documentary Debuting at Festival de Cannes

The French documentary Satoshi Kon, l’illusionniste (a change from the old title, Satoshi Kon: La Machine À Rêves) is finally going to be screened. It will have its debut at the prestigious Festival de Cannes 2021 in France next month. It will be screened sometime during the “Cannes Classics 2021: the documentaries” section of the festival.

Carlotta Films, the company behind it, had originally planned to get the documentary released in 2020, but we all know how 2020 went. Some of the people interviewed in the documentary include Mamoru Oshii, Mamoru Hosoda, Rodney Rothman, Darren Aronofsky, and Andrew Osmond, among others.
