In March Yuu Watase revealed that she and Weekly Shonen Sunday had decided when they’d be resuming publication of Arata: The Legend, which had been on hiatus since 2015. However, they said they’d give that date at a later time. Well, that time has arrived, and Arata: The Legend will return to the pages of Weekly Shonen Sunday in the issue being released May 19.
However, it won’t be anything new yet. At first the magazine will just reprint what will go into the thirteenth edition of the manga in the remastered format. Then, when you get to the July 7 issue, it will start publishing brand-new chapters to continue the story.
