We’ve known for a while now who’s set to play the main characters on Netflix’s live-action Cowboy Bebop adaptation.
Now the ‘flix has revealed some additional cast members, rounding out the Bebop universe.
They are:
- Geoff Stults as Chalmers, Jet’s ex-partner
- Tamara Tunie as Ana, Martian club owner
- Mason Alexander Park as Gren, Ana’s right hand person
- Rachel House as Mao, White Tigers Capo
- Ann Truong and Hoa Xuande as Shin & Lin, Vicious’s twin henchmen

Variety describes Chalmers, played by Stults, as “the epitome of a Western lawman” who has bad blood with Jet, partially because he’s dating Jet’s ex-wife. Ouch. (PS what happened to Bob?!)
Meanwhile, Tamara Tunie’s Ana is described as “the proprietor of the hottest underground bluesy jazz club on Mars” and a “surrogate mother” to Spike.
Gren, played by Mason Alexander Park, is “a Bowie-esque embodiment of 22nd century handsome and seductive beauty” who helps run Ana’s jazz club.
House’s Mao, capo of the White Tigers, is “more cunning, adept, crafty and deadly than her counterparts.”
Twins Shin and Lin, played by Ann Truong and Hoa Xuande, are “they are fiercely loyal to Vicious in his quest to take down Spike Spiegel.”
Previously-announced members of the cast include:
- John Cho as Spike Spiegel
- Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black
- Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine
- Alex Hassell as Vicious
- Elena Satine as Julia
The production of the series has been delayed a few times, once when John Cho tore his ACL and again due to COVID-19. It’s currently back in production in New Zealand with COVID-19 precautions in place.
