Welcome to the Anime Song Girls’ Club!

Hello, everyone! This is otaku and trend watcher, Yunmao Ayakawa!

Wow! Summer is almost over! It’s August and you know what that means… lots of different anime and cosplay events to attend! One of the events I would like to introduce to you is Ani-Son Joshibu (Anime Song Girls’ Club), which is organized by the Birthday Song Music Publisher group and was held on August 10th at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo. This event is a part of the AJF (Anime Japan Fiesta) Anime Song Event, and as the name suggests, all the performers are female singers!

The theme of this year’s show was ‘Dance” and featured Mitsuko Horie, Kumiko Ōsugi, Mami Kingetsu, Salia, Hitomi Mieno, Hitomi Yoshida, Chihiro Yonekura, AKINO with bless4, Mayu Kubota and Sayaka Sasaki on the stage doing an energetic flag dance, Taekwondo, Hula dancing and inline skating while performing anime songs for three hours☆

Go, Girls’ Club! You girls are awesome! This event is extremely popular in Japan and happens every year. So next year you should come and enjoy the show!
