Weekend Weird: Jason’s Anime Sculpture Rampage Continues

I never knew Jason Vorhees had such an interest in the arts. I should have at least assumed some degree of competency with a blade, but carving anime ladies out of wood never struck me as his “thing.” This isn’t the first time Jason has made headlines for his cartoon craftsmanship, and with any luck it won’t be the last.

All joking aside, this is really impressive, and as Japanator reports, the man behind the mask is a 59-year-old from rural Nagano. His latest work is Nodoka Haramura’s angelic form, as seen in Saki. If you want to see the process in action, behold the chainsaw-buzzin’ video embedded below.
