VIZ Offers First Volume of Jujutsu Kaisen For Free This Week (Digitally)

The first episode of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime landed on October 2 and is available streaming on Crunchyroll. To help fans get ready, VIZ Media is offering the first seven chapters (in other words, the first volume of the manga) for free online.

This is a limited time offer, so the chapters will only be free until this Friday, October 9. This is a digital-only offer.

VIZ has described Jujutsu Kaisen as “poised to be the next big hit.” It also detailed why it thinks this franchise stands out from other shonen franchises: “The main character has a reason for fighting. Many shonen manga start with a tragic family death, but there’s something tender and real in the way Itadori and his dying grandfather interact. Even though they only share a few pages in the manga, you can sense the depth of their relationship and why Itadori wants to help others.”

In the meantime, if you haven’t already, you can check out the trailer for the Jujutsu Kaisen anime.
