Jujutsu Kaisen Celebrates 25th Volume, 90 Million CopiesGege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen is a certified smash. The manga, which debuted back in 2018, now has over 90 million copies in circulation. To celebrate that, and the release of its 25th volume, an ad has been published in today’s editions of the Asahi Shinbun and Yomiuri Shinbun newspapers.

The ad, illustrated by Akutami, shows Ryomen Sukuna on one page and Satoru Gojo on the other. Buy both newspapers, and you can stick ‘em together to show the whole illustration. Or, you know, just look at it right here.

Here’s how Viz Media describes Jujutsu Kaisen:

In a world where cursed spirits feed on unsuspecting humans, fragments of the legendary and feared demon Ryomen Sukuna were lost and scattered about. Should any demon consume Sukuna’s body parts, the power they gain could destroy the world as we know it. Fortunately, there exists a mysterious school of Jujutsu Sorcerers who exist to protect the precarious existence of the living from the supernatural!
