Kyoto Animation’s latest series, Violet Evergarden, wrapped up about a month ago, but for those of you feeling everlost, good news: there’s a bonus episode of the series on the way.
The trailer for that episode was revealed yesterday by the series’ official Twitter feed and KyoAni’s YouTube channel. Feast your eyes on more Evergarden goodness, folks!
The extra episode will take place between episodes 4 and 5 of the series, and, according to the official tweet, traces the personal growth made by Violet over the course of a few months.
In Japan, it’ll be included in volume 4 of the Violet Evergarden home video release, and will also be shown July 1 at a special screening at NHK Hall in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, it has been announced the series will get a “totally new” project unrelated to the bonus episode.
Here’s how Netflix describes the series:
The war is over, and Violet Evergarden needs a job. Scarred and emotionless, she takes a job as a letter writer to understand herself and her past.
