Violence Action Manga Gets Live-Action Film in 2022Violence Action, the manga written by Shin Sawada and illustrated by Renji Asai, is getting a live-action film adaptation.

The film is due out sometime this year, and will star Kanna Hashimoto. 

Hashimoto plays lead character Kei, a 20-year-old student and part-time assassin.

Released today were a piece of key art showing Hashimoto in costume and a short announcement video.

Hashimoto has previously starred in manga adaptations such as Kingdom and Kaguya-sama Final: Love Is War.

Violence Action kicked off in the pages of Yawaraka Spirits in 2016, and is still running. There are currently six collected volumes out in Japan.
