Nagano’s Chiikawa is a Twitter manga that follows the daily misadventures of small and cute critters—the name itself is a combination of the words “chiisai” (small) and “kawaii” (cute)—and it officially has an anime in the works.
There aren’t many details to go on at the moment, but the Chiikawa anime is bring produced by Doga Kobo, with a target release set for sometime in 2022.
Chiikawa is serialized on Twitter, and Kodansha publishes a print version in Japan. Here’s a look at the cover of the first volume:
