Another event has been delayed, and this time it’s one that was scheduled quite a bit later in the year. Tokyo Game Show 2020 was originally planned for September 24 to 27, but it has been canceled due to the “outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19)” and the unpredictability of the situation.
The news comes from a press release out of the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA), which organizes the exhibition. This isn’t totally the end for TGS2020, though. While the main event was scheduled to be held at the same venue as last year’s, Makuhari Messe, Tokyo Game Show will now be held as an online event.
Details have yet to be revealed for the online event, but look for more to be announced later this month.
