The Vampire Dies in No Time Manga Goes on Another Hiatus

the vampire dies in no time

The Vampire Dies in No Time manga has taken breaks in the past due to author Itaru Bonnoki’s health concerns, including one in November that lasted for roughly one month. Now another break is in order, with the series to take a month or so off once again starting with an upcoming issue of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine.

As such, The Vampire Dies in No Time will not run in the magazine from this year’s 18th issue—which goes on sale on March 30—through the 22nd and 23rd issues, which arrive in combined form on April 27. The next time readers will see Bonnoki’s series will be in this year’s 24th issue, which hits stands in Japan on May 11.

The manga first launched in Weekly Shonen Champion back in June 2015, and has been collected in 24 volumes so far. Crunchyroll streams the TV anime adaptation of The Vampire Dies in No Time and describes it like so:

Legendary vampire hunter Ronaldo finds an unlikely (and unwilling) ally in Draluc, the world’s weakest vampire who turns to dust at the slightest attack. Together they’re in for more hilarious misadventures than you can shake a stake at, including enemy vampires, axe-wielding editors, and other pains in the neck.
