Timepieces are all the rage when it comes to anime and manga merchandise collaborations, and the latest stylish wristwatches on the block can be found in the form of some new Demon Slayer watches.
This collaboration comes from ICE, which has a full line of watches inspired by Koyoharu Gotouge’s hit series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Each watch takes aesthetic notes from some of the anime and manga’s most popular characters, complete with silicon rubber bands and cases and mineral glass covers. The Demon Slayer watches are also water resistant up to 10 ATM, and they’re currently set for release on June 30, 2021.
Here’s a look at the available character-themed styles:
No matter which style you prefer, the watches can be yours for about $217 a pop. Which character do you want to represent on your wrist?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba ran in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, and has since become one of the hottest selling manga titles in Japan. Ufotable’s TV anime adaptation was a big hit, too, and the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train anime film—and its theme song—is still busting box office records in Japan.
VIZ Media publishes the manga in English and sums it up:
Learning to destroy demons won’t be easy, and Tanjiro barely knows where to start. The surprise appearance of another boy named Giyu, who seems to know what’s going on, might provide some answers—but only if Tanjiro can stop Giyu from killing his sister first!
