final fantasy vii remake

The PlayStation Partner Awards (previously known simply as the “PlayStation Awards”) have been streamed in Japan. Sony put on the event.

Games could win in three categories: the Partner Award, the Special Award, and the Grand Award.

The first category is for games that do exceptionally well globally, and the winners are Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2, Black Desert, Nioh 2, Resident Evil 3 remake / Resident Evil: Resistance, Final Fantasy XIV (“Shadowringers” expansion), Persona 5 Royal, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

The second category, the Special Award, is for games that Sony was involved in and weren’t made in Asia. The winners are Apex Legends and Death Stranding.

The Grand Award is for Japanese or Asian-made games that have done the best between October of last year and September of this year. The winners are eFootball PES 2020, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and Final Fantasy VII Remake.
