Heritage Auctions, the world’s largest collectibles auctioneer, is getting ready to return with something very special for anime fans and animation collectors alike. The Art of Anime and Everything Cool Volume III is an auction that will be held from September 23-26, and among the offerings will be the single largest collection of the “best of the best” of anime art ever offered in a single auction.

The Art of Anime portion of the auction includes original artwork from films such as Katsuhiro Otomo’s landmark Akira, as well as Studio Ghibli and director Hayao Miyazaki classics like Kiki’s Delivery Service, Porco Rosso, My Neighbor Totoro and Castle in the Sky. You’ll also find plenty of art from TV productions ranging from Astro Boy and Pokémon to Dragon Ball Z, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Sailor Moon and beyond.

While you’re checking out the amazing anime art, there’s plenty outside of that realm to get excited about in The Art of Everything Cool Volume III. Historic artwork from Hanna-Barbera cartoons, Looney Tunes and modern classics like Beavis and Butthead, Ren and Stimpy and many more will be up for auction, making for around 1,400 lots on top of the already astounding 900+ anime lots.

With that much to pore over, it’s a good thing The Art of Anime and Everything Cool Volume III is spread over the course of four full days. If you’re interested in taking part, you can view all lots and bid at the official Heritage Auctions website today!
