Heritage AuctionsFeatured Spotlight: Heritage Auctions

If you ever wanted to own a piece of anime history, another opportunity is almost upon us. Heritage Auctions is getting ready to launch its largest anime art auction to date in The Art of Anime and Everything Cool Volume IV. Featuring over 2000 lots spread out over four packed days, the auction is set to run from October 20 through October 23, 2023.

The latest installment has what Heritage describes as “the single most impressive collection of Anime Art we feel we have ever assembled under one auction catalog.” This includes sections devoted to the likes of Katsuhiro Otomo’s legendary Akira anime film, as well as the work of Studio Ghibli and art from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Pokémon and Cowboy Bebop, among others.

Beyond the Anime Art, there’s plenty to find in the Everything Cool category, as well. In addition to an impressive collection of new-to-market artwork from the Peter Chung Archives for the Art of MTV’s Æon Flux, you’ll find what might just be the single best collection of artwork from The Simpsons, as well as classic cartoon staples ranging from Bugs Bunny to Ren and Stimpy.

All of this and more will be available to peruse and bid on both in person in Dallas and online at the official Heritage Auctions website. Mark your calendars for October 20-23, and prepare to be amazed at what’s in store for The Art of Anime and Everything Cool Volume IV!
