The Ancient Magus’ Bride manga is officially on hiatus, but it won’t be for much longer. Its pages were missing in the February issue of Monthly Comic Garden, and the March issue, which ships this week, will also lack a chapter from it.
The good news is that creator Kore Yamazaki is not ill or hurt. The hiatus appears to be more related to Japan’s state of emergency and how much it can throw things off. Yamazaki and her editor are figuring out a “new production process,” and the 75th and latest chapter of The Ancient Magus’ Bride will return to distribution in the April issue of Monthly Comic Garden. In America, The Ancient Magus’ Bride is published by Seven Seas and an anime adaptation has been made available by both Crunchyroll and Funimation.
